The Freelander 2 has a two or three piece propshaft depending on the vehicle. This is easily identifiable as the two piece has one centre bearing fitted and the three piece has two centre bearings fitted. The failure point on these propshafts is the centre bearing. However, due to the design of this propshaft, we cannot repair it. We hold stock of the genuine GKN Landrover part. On supplying us with your vehicle registration, we can send you the correct propshaft for your vehicle. All our genuine Land Rover propshafts come with an 18 month warranty.
We are often asked if we need the old unit back when purchasing a new propshaft. The answer is no, it is not required.
